BJP, BJYM strongly condemn Gowar’s killing

JAMMU, Nov 2: BJP has expressed its grave anguish and concern over the killing of district president of its youth Wing (BJYM), Shopian district Gowhar Hussain Bhat by terrorists and demanded protection to its leaders in Valley.
Condemning the ghastly killing of BJP youth leader Gowhar Hussain Bhat, BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, said that he was martyred for working with a missionary zeal to restore the pristine glory of Kashmir and make it a heaven again.
Sharma, said that frustrated and devastated, militants and their sympathizers have lost all the sense of humanity. Who they are killing and what they want to prove by these cowardly acts, he questioned in pain and agony?
Sat said it is highly unfortunate, how he was abducted from his home and killed in cold blood by so called “saviours of Kashmiriyat” and this way they are actually murdering the “Kashmiriyat” and “Insaniyat” by killing the young blood of Kashmir, who has chosen the path of peace and development for “Kashmir”.
Sat while mourning the death said,  the family has suffered an irreparable loss, but the whole nation is by their side in this difficult hour. He appealed the Kashmiris especially the youth to revolt against the terrorists and their masters “otherwise they will ruin the entire Kashmir which we have not to allow”.
BJP general Secretary, Dr Nrainder Singh while strongly condemning the killing of the Party youth leader in Valley said this speaks that terrorists and their leaders are in great desperation after seeing that BJP’s graph is increasing in Valley. He said Party will not be cowed down by such attacks and the killing has redoubled its resolve to work hard to bring Kashmir out of the present mess and take it to path of development by restoring the age old composite culture of Valley.
Dr Singh also demanded security for BJP leaders in Valley and urged Government to ensure the security of all its leaders working in Valley.
Terming the act as totally shameful BJYM State president Dr Suresh Ajay Mangotra and its general secretary, Vikas Choudhary said this is an act against humanity. In a joint statement the two leaders said that terrorists are totally frustrated with the zeal and dedication the partymen are working in Valley for return of peace and normalcy which is a serious challenge not only to them but their mentors across the border.
Dr Mangotra termed Gowhar a bold and dedicated activist who was an inspiration for other youth of Kashmir in revolting against terror. He said BJYM activists are resolved to carry forward the mission by putting a last nail in the coffin of terrorism and entire nation is with the bereaved family at this hour of grief and shock.
