JAMMU, May 7: An 18-year-old biker died in a road accident at Channi Rama area here today.
A police official said Monu (18) son of Shanga of Narwal hit his two-wheeler with a pole at Channi Rama around 5:15 pm, resulting in serious injuries to him.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu where doctors declared him dead on arrival, said the police spokesperson.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem a case under the relevant sections of the law has been registered at Trikuta Nagar Police Station and further investigation taken up, added the police spokesperson.
