RAJOURI, May 28: In view of some recent media reports with regard to disbursement of scholarship of students received from various departments/ agencies of the Government, BGSB University has constituted a high level committee to examine the mechanism of scholarships, loopholes, if any; fix responsibilities and suggest remedies to ensure fair and transparent mechanism of the process.
The committee shall examine the matter in light of the recent media reports and shall submit a factual report with regard to the matter. The members of the committee are; Prof Ghulam Hassan Dar, Dean, School of Biosciences & Biotechnology- Convener, Prof Nigath Basu, Dean, School of Education, Prof S K Gupta, Dean, School of Management Studies and Majid Bashir Malik, Assistant Professor, Computer Sciences. R C Bhat, Assistant in the office of Dean of Students shall coordinate and assist the committee, which shall submit comprehensive report within a period of seven days.
