BBIA flays BSNL for worst services

JAMMU, Jan 24: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has strongly criticized the BSNL authorities for worst even services in the entire Industrial area and most parts of the region.
A meeting of the members of the Bari Brahmana Industries Association, Jammu was held today under the chairmanship of Lalit Mahajan, its president in presence of Suresh Mahajan –senior vice president, Ajay Langer general secretary, Vivek Singhal- secretary and Viraaj Malhotra- treasurer, to discuss the difficulties being faced by the industrialist of Bari Brahmana Industrial Complex due to poor quality of landline and broad band services of BSNL.
The member present in the meeting raised serious concern over the frequent disruption in the Internet service due to poor maintenance of existing land line and broad band services and the non- availability of the spare parts in the Exchange resulting Internet service remain effected during the working hours on regular basis.
It is pertinent to mention here that the majority of the Telephone connections and Internet services is not working for the last two weeks in spite of complaints registered with the Telephone Exchange by the member units. Whenever, they contact the concerned officials the Telephone Exchange, they always gave a lame excuse that migration of exchange is going on / due to non availability of requisite spares resulting it is not possible to repair/replace the faulty cable.
It is a known fact that at present all the working of the Industrial Units depends on Internet services and mobile phones but the service of BSNL Network is so bad that while discussing important issues on mobile the signal disturbed frequently resulting problems to our member units and some time there is so much distortion that it is impossible to talk with each other.
The BBIA urged upon the Chief General Manager of BSNL Jammu Circle to look into the matter urgently to resolve the issue on priority basis.
