Srinagar, Nov 14: High Court Bar Association, Srinagar, team has left the Valley to visit prisoners languishing in Jammu jails.
A statement of the lawyers’ body said it has constituted various teams to provide legal aid and assistance to the detenues, undertrial prisoners and convicts lodged in the jails in Jammu province.
The teams will also meet the Pakistani Prisoners lodged in these jails, and on their return will submit their reports to the Bar Association which after examination will be placed before the High Court for passing of necessary orders in the light of what will be projected in those reports.
