JAMMU, Aug 17: After 25 days strike, the General House of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu has unanimously decided to resume work in all the courts from tomorrow.
The decision has been arrived at in view of latest developments having taken place such as time limit of August 30 fixed by Deputy Commissioner, Jammu for identification of 200 acres of land for setting up of AIIMS in Jammu. Thereafter, the statement made by Union Minister for Health J P Nadda that two AIIMS have been sanctioned for Jammu and Kashmir followed by National Vice President and Member Parliament and in charge J&K that two AIIMS have been sanctioned in State of Jammu & Kashmir. Even Chief Minister Mufti Mohd. Sayeed has stated that two AIIMS have been sanctioned in the State.
In view of these developments, members present in the General House by majority decision decided to resume the work in all the courts from August 18. The meeting was chaired by President Advocate Abhinav Sharma.
