Balol Industrial Complex entrepreneurs call on Advisor

SAMBA, June 28: A delegation of new Entrepreneurs of Balol Estate, Industrial Complex Bari Brahmana Jammu met the Advisor, K.K Sharma and discussed the problems being faced by the new Entrepreneurs with him.
The delegation informed him that the industrial plots which were allotted to new entrepreneurs by JK SIDCO in newly created Balol Estate in 2018 stands pending whereas each case was cleared by the Single Window Clearance Committee followed by payment of full amount of land premium towards the cost of land , entering into lease deed at Samba Court. It said that some of them have even not got physical possession of the land till date.
All those entrepreneurs who got physical possession of the industrial plots have constructed boundary walls, water tanks, labour quarters etc to the allotted plots and creating other structures thus incurring lacs of rupees and similarly several crores of rupees of public exchequer were incurred by JKSIDCO for development of the Balol Estate by way of construction of roads , protective bunds for the 522 kanals of Government land.
It was also brought to the notice of Advisor that some units are in operation since last two years besides the construction of sub station by the Power Development Department, but to the dismay of these unit holders they have been denied the permission to take further effective steps to construct factory building, procure required Machinery and other equipments enabling the unit holders to operate their industrial units. The Advisor assured the delegation that the matter will be taken up at highest level of U.T. administration shortly for the solution of the problems faced by the young Technocrat Entrepreneurs of the Association.
The delegation also met the Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce J&K Government and apprised him of the problems faced by the entrepreneurs who feel cheated by JK SIDCO who are in the denial mode to grant permissions for construction of factory buildings and procurement of plant and machinery. The Commissioner assured to take up matter at highest level for finding solution to the problem of young entrepreneurs.
The delegation was lead by Rakesh Sharma other members present in the meeting were Amarjeet Singh , Jamshed Khan and Mayank Chadha.
