JAMMU, Feb 14: Special Judge (3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu) Subash C Gupta has rejected the bail application of Zahoor Ahmed Bhat, an employee of Health Department as well as Over Ground Worker (OGW) of HM.
He was arrested by Police Station Dacchan on January 2, 2020 for providing medical treatment and medicines to the militants in Renie Marwah area.
After hearing APP Sanjay Kohli for the UT, the court observed, “accusation against the applicant/accused of his involvement in unlawful activities is serious, heinous, grave viz-a-viz security, integrity and sovereignty of Union of India and of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir”.
With these observations, court rejected bail application.
