SAMBA, Nov 6: Prajapati Brahma Kumari Ashram, Bing Samba and District Hospital Samba, organized a joint programme to make people aware about drug abuse in the premises of DH here today.
On this occasion Superintendent of District Hospital Samba, Indra Batayal and B Kishore, who came from Mount Abu, were the chief guests. BK Kishore in his address said that awareness programmes were also held in the Government Higher Secondary School and Lord Krishna School of Boys to make people were about the ill effects of drugs.
Making the people aware, he said that Tobacco, Alcohol and drugs are a slow poison. They can cause many types of cancer but unfortunately the number of drug addicts is increasing day by day.
Queen Sister, Doctor Renu Vala, Bindiya, Rajiv Sharma, Ashok and Bindiya were also present on the programme.
