Attempt to murder case registered against BJP leader

JAMMU, Aug 29: An attempt to murder case has been registered against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader at RS Pura Police Station.
As per police station, BJP leader namely Rajesh Chabbra, son of Bal Krishan, a resident of RS Pura manhandled and assaulted BSP leader identified as Swaran Lal, son of Bal Krishan, a resident of RS Pura few days back over some petty issue. Swaran Lal engaged in aluminum works was called by Rajesh Chabbra at home and was later assaulted.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the victim to hospital, where after medical examination, he was handed over to family members.
A case under FIR number 156/14 under Section 307 and 342 RPC has been registered against BJP leader at Police Station RS Pura and manhunt has been launched to nab him.
However, no arrest has been made when reports were compiled late tonight.
