JAMMU, Jan 21: A security guard of Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) was murdered by some unidentified miscreants in Nanak Nagar area here tonight.
As per police sources, security guard of J&K Bank ATM identified as Raju Sharma, son of Gullu Ram of Prem Nagar New Plot was stabbed to death by miscreants in Nanak Nagar area. The hands and legs of the victim were found tied.
On getting information, police team led by SDPO South Purshotam Mengi rushed to the spot.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for autopsy.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.a
