JAMMU, Jan 21: An unidentified man was found murdered in Gole area, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Post Pouni Chack
According to SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul, today a complaint was received from a person namely Ram Paul, son of Ayodha Parkash of Gole that a dead body is lying in his property.
Acting over the information, a team from Police Post Pouni Chack led by Inspector Mukhtiyar Ali rushed to the spot and called the team of FSL and conducted crime photography and videography of the scene of crime.
Later, the body was shifted to mortuary of GMCH Jammu for identification.
A case under FIR Number 20/2021 under Section 302 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started, SDPO informed.
“During investigation, police rounded up many suspects out of which one of the suspects is presumably showing involvement in the murder”, SDPO said, adding that further investigation is in progress to trace out other suspects involved in the murder.
The investigation is in preliminary stages and is carried out under the guidance of SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh and SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul.
