JAMMU, Jan 11: A joint meeting of different Kashmiri Pandit Socio- Political Organization was held here at ASKPC Bhawan Durga Nagar today in which it was decided that the community will organize all future programmes jointly.
The meeting which was chaired by ASKPC chief advocate Ravinder Raina a consensus was evolved during the deliberations with regard to launch of joint struggle for solving the problems with which KP Community is confronting in the exile. All other parties were also appealed to make a joint effort in this regard.
It was decided to make a beginning the Holocaust Day falling on Janaury 19 will be observed jointly by these organizations to exhibit unity among the community.
It was decided in the meeting that KPs despite their affiliation to different organization will join together and peacefully observe the Holocaust day. R.K.Raina, Ex-President ASKPC, M.K.Yogi from NC Minority Cell, B.L.Saraf (Retd) District Sessions Judge, Kashmiri Lal Bhat, Sr Advocate, J.L.Pandita President TSPC Tral , Subash Nagar, Shardha Nadan, Ashok Raina, Kishore Mattoo (Welfare Committee Rainawari Temple), A.K.Saproo (Shiv Shakti Temple, Janipur) attended the meeting and deliberated upon the issues/Agenda.
Ravinder Raina President ASKPC also explained the proposed programme with regard to holding of Holocaust day. All Executive members of ASKPC also spoke in the meeting.
C.L. Bhat (Advocate) Vice President ASKPC while presenting vote of thanks said that at a time when enough water has gone down the drain and a joint effort and endeavor of KPs for overcoming the community problems is only be the best solution.
A two minute silence was observed to pray for peace to the souls of Martyrs of Pathankot Air force station.
