JAMMU, July 12: BJP State publicity secretary and Prabhari Samba Assem Gupta today lambasted the NC-Congress coalition for its failure on all fronts.
In a statement issued here today, he said that the two parties were misleading the people on the name of development. He said the J&K has been ruined by these two parties who ruled the State since 1947 and they only misled the masses with cheap slogans.
Had they really worked for the development of the State then people after over 65 years of the independence would have not been facing over 10 hour power cuts in a day in these hot days of Summer, he said. He said the power cuts are even imposed during night hours and people pass sleepless nights.
Gupta said the situation has deteriorated to such an extent that over 20 transformers have damaged and many localities are without power supply for days tighter.
He said even the people in various areas face acute water scarcity. He demanded that to solve the power and water crisis in the State the Government should privatize both the departments.
