JAMMU, Apr 23: Arya Samaj Daya Nand Marg City Chowk Jammu organized a programme at Vir Ram Chander Samarak Akhnoor road Bathera today. The programme started with Vedic Hawan followed by flag hoisting ceremony by its president and general secretary Arun Gupta and Balwant Singh respectively.
Rich tributes were paid to Vir Ram Chander Ji by Padam Shree Awardee Prof Ved Kumari Ghai, Acharya Vidhya Banu Shastri and Dr Pratibha Purandhi, Assistant Professor University Jammu.
A colourful programme was organized by students of Arya Kanya Vidhalya Pathshalla Kachi Chawni Jammu and Vir Ram Chander Samarak School Bathera on the occasion.
A free medical eye camp was also organized by Dr Kulbushan Mahotra senior vice president with assistance of renowned doctors from Acharya Shree Chandra Medical College Hospital Sidhra in which 200 patients were checked and free of cost medicines were distributed among them.
