Srinagar, Apr 23: Police today said three drug peddlers were arrested from Murran Chowk area of Pulwama district and recovered codeine bottles and cash worth over Rs 1.36 lakh.
A police spokesman said the three peddlers were arrested during a night raid at around 11:30 pm. “We recovered 47 bottles of codeine along with 1, 36, 410 rupees,” he said, adding three cell phones were also recovered along with a drug injection.
All the peddlers belong to Pulwama Town and a case has been registered in this regard, the spokesman added.
