JAMMU, Dec 4: Arya Samaj Dayanand Marg, City Chowk, Jammu today conducted its election under the supervision of Dr Kulbushan Mahotra.
All the members unanimously elected Arun Kumar Gupta as the President of Arya Samaj Dayanand Marg, City Chowk. He was authorized to choose his team accordingly.
Other office bearers, who were elected, included Balwan Singh (General Secretary); Divakar Chauhan and Vijay Mahajan (Vice President); Rakesh Chauhan (Treasurer); Dr Kulbushan Mahotra (Chief Patron); Vivek Gupta (Joint Secretary); Ashok Chaturvedi (Manager – Arya Girls Pathshala Kachi Chawani); Mukesh Shastri (Pustakalya Adyaksh); Rishi Pal (Adyaksh – Bathera School Committee).
Newly elected President Arun Kumar Gupta impressed upon all the members to put in their efforts for the betterment of society by publicizing the teachings of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati.
The election process took place after the culmination of Dainik Veid Chawan, followed by Bhajans. The election process was initiated as per the directions formalized and in presence of Bharat Bhushan Gupta, Sanrakshak Arya Pratinidhi Sabha Jammu and Kashmir.
