Art 35-A applied to J&K only to facilitate creation of Muslim State: Adv Ankur

JAMMU, Sept 8: The failure of Government of India to contest and reject the Muslim separatist claim that Article 35-A was a result of an agreement between India and Pakistan, vindicates our stand that 35-A, after Article 370, was applied to Jammu and Kashmir only to facilitate the creation of a Muslim State on the territory of India.
“Government of India should clarify whether Article 35-A was result of an agreement between India and Pakistan?  If so, why the nation was not taken into confidence? Why was the Parliament, the supreme law making body of the nation, kept in the dark while perpetrating this fraud?” questioned Advocate Ankur Sharma, chairman, Ikk Jutt Jammu while addressing a press conference here today.
While Article 370 created Muslim state within the Indian nation by keeping J&K out of the political and constitutional organization of India, 35-A converted the constitution of J&K into a Shariat compatible regime. This regime rendered non-Muslims as third grade subjects, no different from Dhimmis, he said.
“The persecution, marginalization and exclusion of non-Muslims in J&K is a direct fall-out of the willful fraudulent creation of the Muslim State of J&K through Article 370 and Article35-A by the Congress leadership at the helms at that time, Ankur Sharma said.
The Ikk Jutt chairman said that non-Muslim population of J&K have to realize that they are not only face to face with the issue of systematic discrimination but also worst form of a servitude of a Muslim State and the situation has now climaxed to the point that their very survival, their religion and culture are at stake.
Stating that Ikk Jutt Jammu is born to liberate the non-Muslims living in J&K from the slavery of Muslim state, he appealed all to join IkkJutt Jammu in large numbers so that they can destroy the shackles of slavery and redeem the nation and civilization of India.
