JAMMU, Sept 8: Under the leadership of BJP State general secretary, Yudhvir Sethi, BJP held a meeting to discuss forthcoming programmes in regard to “Kavya Anjali” and “Sewa Week”.
BJP State secretary, Veenu Khanna, State All Cell in charge Vikramjit Singh, BJP district Jammu president, Baldev Billoria and H.S. Pammi participated in the meeting.
Yudhvir Sethi, while addressing the meeting said that the BJP has decided to celebrate the “Kavya Anjali” programmes on the national level. He said that under the programme, the poems written by eminent poets on former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna, late Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji will be recited by the poets and the prominent citizens of the region.
He also informed that the poems written and recited himself by Atal Ji will also be played in the programmes in tribute to the great personality.
Yudhvir Sethi, in the meeting, also informed that a programme named “Karya Anjali” or “Sewa week” will also be held by BJP on the national level, where in the BJP has decided to hold programmes on “Swacchta Abhiyaan” and health vaccination and check up camps for children and ladies. He informed that the programmes will be specifically targeted in the downtrodden and slum localities in accordance to the BJP’s principle of equal social justice and opportunities to all.
The programme will be scheduled from September 17 the day of birth of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and will culminate on September 25 the date of birth of the great ideologue of the century Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay.
Yudhvir Sethi also announced the Committee for the smooth coordination of these programmes comprising of senior leaders from the State. The Committee members are Yudhvir Sethi, Munish Sharma, Veenu Khanna, Varinderjit Singh, Baldev Singh Billawaria and H.S. Pammi.
