Srinagar, Oct 20: Army organized a career counseling lecture at Government High School Gogajipathri village.
A defence spokesman said the counseling session for the students of 9th and 10th standards was well received with the children getting information on various academic and career avenues. “Handy information brochures on these options including the Armed forces were distributed to the children,” he said.
This initiative of connecting with the poor children of remote villages was appreciated by the school staff as these measures instill confidence, sense of responsibility and inspiration in the young minds, the defence spokesman added.
