UDHAMPUR, Oct 20: One person died on four others got injured in different road accidents, here today.
According to the police, a Truck bearing registration number JK02AF-1898, hit by a car JK02D-1149, on the National Highway near Trikuta Ice Factory Shiv Nagar Udhampur. Police and locals rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared driver of the car as brought died. The deceased was identified as Kuldeep Kumar (37) son of Thakur Dass of Omara Morh Udhampur. Police has registered the case in this regard.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, a Tata Mobile 407, bearing registration number JK021A-2663, on its way from Manwal to Udhampur, rolled down in a gorge near Dudhar Nallha. Police took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured were identified as driver Aashik Ahmed son of Javed Ahmed and Iqbal Chandel son of Jamal Din, both resident of Sangal Dan in Ramban district.
A motorcycles bearing registration number JK20-0056 was hit by a bus near Tikri, resulting into injuries to motorcyclist Jugal (19), son of Govind Ram and his pillion rider Sonu (18) son of Ashok Kumar. Both are resident of Omara Morh Udhampur.
