MENDHAR, July 14: An Army jawan died of electric shocks in Chhatral area of Mendhar in district Poonch this evening.
A police spokesman said that Sep Umesh Kumar from 37 RR and hailing from Bihar, was seriously injured after he received electric shock while working on a power generator at ECO Unit in Chhatral area, where cloud burst took place three days back. The jawan was rushed to nearby Army hospital where he was declared as dead. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
