JAMMU, July 14: The residents of Ambika Vihar, Swarn Nagar and Langar Colonies held a general body meeting and framed a Welfare and Development Committee, here today.
Retired Er Surjit Singh Chowdhary was elected president of the Committee, while Balwan Singh Manhas was elected general secretary.
Captain Jagmeet Singh was elected vice president and Vijay Kumar as assistant general secretary.
Santokh Singh was nominated organizing secretary, while DySP Rattan Lal and Inspector Gari Lal Sandhu were named coordinators of the Committee.
