REASI, Mar 14: A computer training course was conducted by Rashtriya Rifles at Government High School, Aghar Jitto, in which teachers from various Government Schools of the district took part.
Speaking on the occasion, Tarsem Lal, CEO, Reasi, said that the placement of computer-trained teachers is not possible for all schools and Army has done yeoman service in overcoming this problem by training the teachers.
He said that this training programme will benefit more than 500 students every year and requested Army for similar programmes in other areas of the district as well.
Tarsem Lal also spoke about the importance of IT training and urged the teachers to utilise the knowledge gained by them for promoting computer literacy in their schools.
Among others present were Susham Lata, Principal, Government High School, Aghar Jitto, K Ram, ZEO and participating teachers.
