SRINAGAR, July 8: Army today held a convocation function at Thimaya Hall to award certificates to students who completed their eight weeks course in tourism industry.
In a statement, Army said that 46 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Dagger division in collaboration Institute of Hotel Management, Rajbagh, has opened its hotel training institute in Baramulla under the scheme “Hunar Se Rozgar Tak Sena Ke Sehyog Se”, which is being run by the Ministry of Tourism, to provide training in trades related to the hospitality sector.
Major General V G Khandare was the chief guest on the occasion, Brigadier Ravi,
SSP Baramulla, Principal IHM Afatb Ahmad Banday, President Hotel Association Faiz Ahmad Bakshi, Officiating CO 46 RR and former Professor Manjeet Singh were also present on the occasion.
