SRINAGAR, July 8: A lady resident of Hajinad Karnah who was undergoing treatment for burn injuries at SMHS Hospital Srinagar after she attempted self-immolation at her home on 28.06.2013 succumbed to her injuries yesterday. The body was handed over her relatives after completing all legal formalities. A case FIR number 27/2013 under Section 309 RPC has already been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, during last intervening night, a 35 years old lady (name withheld) of Gundiseydian, Karnah, Kupwara, consumed some poisonous substance at her home. The lady was shifted to SMHS, Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case FIR number 31/2013, under Section 309 RPC has been registered in this regard.
