Armed men wearing PPE kits loot cash from J&K Bank

Srinagar, Apr 22: The unknown gunmen today broke into a J&K Bank branch in Sherabad Khore of Pattan in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials said that around four persons who were in a Maruti car forced their entry into the bank and decamped with cash, the amount of which is being ascertained.
Police said that at least four gunmen who were wearing PPE managed to flee with cash along with a 12 Bore rifle from the bank guard on duty.
The locals present on the spot tried to catch them, however, the gunmen fired some shots in the air and created panic among the locals who then fled from the spot.
The police said that the looters have left behind their car and impressed that efforts are on to nab the culprits.
