AMEAK agitation enters 114th day

JAMMU, Sept 5: All Migrant Employees Association Kashmir agitation entered 114th day here, today. These hapless employees are on indefinite strike after the killing of their colleague Rahul Bhat who became the victim of heinous murder committed by militants at his work place tehsil office, Chadoora in Budgam district of Kashmir Valley.
They said Kashmiri Pandit teachers always contributed towards nation building but feel highly deprived as it is never recognized by any of the Governments.
Teachers on dharna went emotional on this auspicious day and justified their helplessness with their right to life.
KP employees also paid heartfelt remembrance to martyred teachers Deepak Chand Ji ,Supinder Kour and Rajni Bala who were shot dead in schools while performing duties.
The fear-psychosis among Valley posted Hindu employees is elevated extremely after successive killings and has shattered their fundamental rights.
Employees said that they will not return to Valley under these circumstances and feel their lives are highly vulnerable.
These employees have one point demand that they must be relocated or attached/deployed or deputed to R.C Office Jammu, camp offices in Jammu or any other offices in Jammu till conditions becomes conducive for Kashmiri Pandits in Valley.
Meanwhile, the migrant employees today continued their protest at Sheikhpora Colony, Budgam. The employees are protesting for last four months in the colony in support of their relocation demand to Jammu till situation improves in Valley.
They urged the Union Government to take a decision without delay in this regard as their families are totally scared after selective killings in Valley. They reiterated their appeal to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Home Minister, Amit Shah and Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha in this regard.
