JAMMU, Sept 5: Miran Sahib Police arrested a man for unnecessary firing and creating fear among the people.
As per police sources, an information was received through reliable sources at Police Station Miran Sahib that a person without any reason fired three round from his licensed 12 bore gun and created fear among the people.
Acting over the information, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta immediately swung into action and arrested the person along with his licensed weapon.
The arrested person was identified as Jatinder Singh Salaria, son of Sansar Singh Salaria of Khour Deonian.
A case under FIR Number 104/2022 under Sections 336 IPC and 30 Arms Act has been registered against the arrested person at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
