JAMMU, Sept 23: All Migrants Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) today cautioned the Government against taking any decision on return of the community to Valley before taking the ground realities into consideration.
The meeting, which was chaired by AMCCC president Desh Rattan also expressed concern over the role of those KP leaders who are neither the migrants nor were hit by the turmoil of taking decision on behalf of the community by hobnobbing with Union Government and giving a green signal to its return formula. The meeting said the decisions taken by these leaders will not be acceptable to the migrants and urged the Government to start the confidence building measures first.
The meeting said if Government is really sincere in rehabilitation of migrants back in Valley it should restore their encroached land and other property as a confidence building measure.
Moreover, the problems of people who were living in villages be taken into consideration as they are the worst sufferers of the turmoil. The meeting said no return package will be acceptable to the community which fails to fulfill the aspirations of seven lakh displaced Pandits.
Meeting was attended by R N Dhar, Ravinder Pandita (KV) R N Pandita, M K Koul, R  L Sharma, Ravi Razdan, Sanjeev Bhat, Ashok Raina, R K Sadhu, Ashok Tickoo and Ravi Sharma.
