Time ripe for KPs to show political presence: Bakaya

JAMMU, Sept 23: Describing Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) as the people with wisdom, National Conference MLC, Vijay Bakaya impressed upon them to standup and be united at this crucial juncture to show their political presence by making full use of their voting right and electing their own representatives.
He also inaugurated transformer at Amar Vihar, Anand Nagar, Bohri in an impressive function.
Mr Bakaya said this while addressing a public rally after inaugurating 250 KV transformer at Pouni Chak, Ghou Manasan Road, here this evening.
Apart from a large number of Kashmiri Pandits, a good number of Dogras participated in this rally.
Taking a dig at some self style KP leaders, Mr Bakaya warned the Community members not to try to play with their wounds as the wounds become ‘nasoors’ when dealt in an improper manner, adding that a right choice always follows when right things are done at  right time.
Those who spoke on the occasion highlighted the developmental works of Mr Vijay Bakaya as MLC and the speakers included Pinki Bhat, president Women Wing, NC Minority Cell, Sham Lal Raina, MK Yogi, SL Thussu, Som Nath Dhar, Mr Talashi, Vinod Ji Pandita and PL Pandita.
