NEW DELHI, Apr 11: Aluminium prices fell by 0.35 per cent to Rs 113.80 per kg in futures trading today, largely in tune with a weakening trend in the global markets on demand concern.
Further, subdued demand in the domestic spot markets also weighed on the metal prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May eased by 40 paise, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 113.80 per kg in business turnover of 12 lots.
The metal for delivery in April fell by 35 paise, or 0.31 per cent to Rs 112.80 per kg in 11 lots.
Market analysts said the weakness in aluminium at futures trade was mostly in tune with a downtrend in metal at the London Meta Exchange and subdued demand at domestic spot markets. (PTI)
