JAMMU, Apr 23: Asha Kiran Welfare Society (AKWS), Jammu today organized a free medical camp in Baba Lal Ji Temple Hall at Janipur Colony.
The camp was inaugurated jointly by Dr Vikrant Sharma (Orthopedic Surgeon) and Hem Raj Sharma (social activist).
More than 150 patients were examined by a team of specialized doctors during the camp. The needy patients were provided free medicines by Pankaj Parihar from Pharmed Limited, Ajay Gupta from Madhu Medical Agency and Vikas Sharma from Vasu Health Care.
The doctors who provided their services during the camp were Omeshwar Singh (Ortho), Sonika Kundan and Kaviraj Dubey (physician specialists), Ajay Kotwal (child specialist), Anubhav Khajuria and Sushen Gupta (dental surgeons), Sudhir Sabarwal (Neuro Surgeon), Aarti (Gynecologist), Bharti Sarangal (Eye Specialist) and Shalini (Ayurvedic).
The office bearers of the society who rendered their services in the camp include Dr JP Gupta, Ved Chibber, Jaswant Manhas, Kamal Netar, Anil Kohli, Vinod Kumar, Hari Chand Sharma, Surinder Sharma, Romesh Lal, Romesh Chander Gupta, Ram Cand, Rakesh Chowhan, Rajan Handa, YP Nanda and Bimla Handoo.
