JAMMU, Aug 13: All India Students’ Federation (AISF) unit of Jammu and Kashmir celebrated its 85th Foundation Day of the organization throughout the UTs of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.
To mark the foundation, different AISF units of the both UTs organized flag hosting at different venues while maintaining physical distancing due to ongoing coronavirus pandemic precautions and many of its members greeted from their homes and remembered the glorious history/contributions of the Federation.
AISF State president, Sanjay Kotwal hoisted the flag in Chenani area of Udhampur district. He threw light on history and activities of the organization, which fought for the freedom of country, and after Independence it started working for the students welfare and adopted the slogan ‘Study and Struggle’.
State secretary of Federation, Ranbir Bandral hoisted flag at organization’s headquarters, Residency Road, Jammu.
