Agri Graduates seek batch-wise adjustment

JAMMU, July 14: Senior Agriculture Graduates have demanded batch-wise adjustment of the candidates appointed under Rehbar-e-Zarat (ReZ) by the State Agriculture Department.
In a meeting of the senior Agriculture Graduates held here, the members pointed out that as already decided by the Government vide its Order No Agr/NG/53/2002 Genl dated 20-3-2007, the candidates should be adjusted batch-wise taking care of the seniority. Even the Law Department had endorsed this decision. It is unfortunate that by setting aside the already taken decision, now department has been contemplating to issue adjustment orders as per merit. They pleaded that Department must stick to its earlier decision of batch-wise adjustment, taking care of seniority of the candidates.
