Jammu, Oct 31 : Dr S P Vaid, Addl. DGP Hqrs, PHQ accompanied by Rajesh Kumar, IGP Jammu and Shakeel A. Beig, DIG Jammu, inaugurated newly constructed Police Post at High Court Janipur. Dr Vaid also inspected newly renovated Police Post Residency Road and briefed the police officers regarding changed security scenario.
All the Flying Squads now called as PCR vans were also inspected by ADGP Hqrs. at Gulshan Ground. The IGP and DIG briefed the Addl. DGP about the strategical changes of PCR vans which will now function under the operational control of Police Control Room as per the newly drafted SOP in order to avoid untoward incidents.
ADGP assured full logistic support required for activation of PCR vans.
Atul Kumar Goel, SSP Jammu, Vijay Kumar, SSP PCR, Jugal Manhas, SP City North Jammu, Rahul Malik, SP South, Randheer Singh SP Hqrs, Shafkat Hussain, Addl. SP PCR, Jammu, Kulbir Handa, SDPO City North also accompanied the officer.
