JAMMU, Nov 18: The victim of a train accident today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, a youth identified as Ajay Kumar (21) son of Shuda Ram, a resident of Nagrota, was shifted to GMCH late night at about 11.55 after being injured in a train mishap at Chakki Bank, Pathankot.
However, the youth expired today at about 3.05 am. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police has already taken cognizance of the matter.
