ACCI Udhampur criticizes Centre for hike in petrol, diesel prices

UDHAMPUR, Sept 8:Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries Udhampur has criticized the Central Government for hike in prices of petrol and diesel in the country.
Addressing a press conference, here today, ACCI Chairman Ravi Malguria said that regular hike in prices of petrol and diesel was adversely affecting small industrialists and shopkeepers He alleged that Modi Government’s slogan of one Nation one Tax has proved to be hallow as the petrol and diesel were not brought under GST while traders in J&K were still paying double tax because of no abolition of Lakhanpur entry point tax. He urged the Governor to look into the matter and abolish this controversial Jajia type tax at Lakhanpur.
Ravi Malkuria also reiterated the demands of construction of warehouse and Transport Nagar at Sayal Sallan.
Others, who were present on the occasion, include Ashok Sehgal, Vinod Kumar Gupta, Neeraj Gupta, Sanjay Kumar, Chander Shakher, Kamal Gupta and Mam Chand Mittel.
