JAMMU, May 14: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the last eight years.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Nagrota police station conducted raid and arrested the absconder, who has been identified as Mohd Yaqoob, son of Roshan Din of Marh Chatha Gujra.
The absconder was wanted in a case registered at Nowabad police station under FIR number 54/2005.
Police party led by SHO OP Chib made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Khalik Choudhary.
