Addressing a press conference at the Party office in Gandhi Nagar area, youth leaders of the Party including Muktesh Yogi, Amrit Wattal, Mahesh Bakshi and Mehak Sharma said that BJP should simply give a figure of the number of Government jobs provided in J&K in the last four years and even from 2014 to 2018 when BJP was in Government in the erstwhile state in coalition with PDP.
They said, “BJP made tall promises of large scale recruitment in J&K after 2019 and these statements were even made from Parliament but all these turned into dream promises only with no ground realities.” The AAP leaders further said that on one hand BJP is trying to gain fake publicity for large scale recruitments and on other hand ground realities include big scam and cancellation of J&K Police SI scam, stalled recruitment process of FAA, stalled recruitment process and delay in joining of recruits of Forensic Laboratories under Home Department and cancellation of recruitment process of J&K Border Battalions.
The AAP leaders said that all claims of boosting entrepreneurship in J&K have hollow existence with dummy schemes launched which are at least beneficial for entrepreneurs and extra formalities are keeping aspirants away from these schemes. “The BJP Government is said to have given a pace to industrialization after 2019 but where is this pace? No new industries established and identification of land for setting of industrial parks and areas in every district also remained a claim,” they added.
They said that creating new employment avenues in Government as well as private sector, setting up of new industries and development of existing institutions always remain a priority of Government but not when there is BJP Government in office which only believes in publicity.
