AAP holds blood donation camp as tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh

JAMMU, Sept 28: In order to pay tribute to freedom fighter Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today organised a blood donation camp in Jammu in which party volunteers donated blood to save precious human lives.
The blood donation camp was organised by AAP youth wing and a number of party leaders and activists including AAP Jammu province Incharge Gourav Sharma, Jammu province Incharge of youth wing Parvinder Singh, vice president Harbajan Singh, secretaries Harneak Singh, Usman Kohli and Ranjit Singh Goldy, and youth leader Gurjeet Singh participated in it.
The camp started by paying tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh who was remembered for his services in freedom struggle. Later, a number of AAP volunteers donated blood for saving precious human lives and the donated blood units were over to health Institutions for further use at the time of need.
Speaking on the occasion, Gourav Sharma said that blood donation is the biggest donation in mankind and volunteers of AAP always remain upfront for this noble cause. He added, “We are paying tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and there can be no tribute bigger or better than tribute through blood donation.” He further appealed all the citizens to be an active blood donor in society and to save precious human lives.
Parvinder Singh said that blood donation is the biggest tribute to national heroes and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation. He said that AAP volunteers are setting a trend in this line and spreading the message of ‘Bleed Red’ and everyone in society should follow these lines.
