JAMMU, Aug 27: Jodhamal Public School students participated in The Doon School Model United Nations Conference popularly known as DSMUN.
The 2019 edition of DSMUN was held in The Doon School, Dehradun.
Jodhamal Public School delegation escorted by faculty member Deepmala was the only delegation from J&K State which participated for the seventh time and competed with famous schools from different parts of the country.
The participating schools included The Doon School, Welham Boys, Welham Girls, Mayo College Girls, Modern School Barakhamba, Modern School Vasant Vihar, Selaqui International, Maharani Gayatri Devi, The Lawrence School Sanawar and many more.
The DSMUN convened 14 committees like UNSC, DISEC, UNODC, ECOSOC, IP, UNHRC, Rajya Sabha & Lok Sabha.
The team members were Saba Jamwal, Mitushi Sharma, Shaarvi Magazine, Rudhraksh Bhalla, Vinisha Barala, Adit Magotra, Sohan Magazine and Medansh Thusoo.
Jodhamal delegates collaborated with other school delegates to resolve complex global issues and propose solutions. Medansh Thusoo stole the show with his performance.
Principal Dr. Deep Khare felicitated the students in a special assembly wherein all MUNERs shared their experience.
