Jang Bahadur resigns as Member Committee JKCA

JAMMU, July 5: Citing personal reasons, Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission, Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, who was instrumental in running cricket in Jammu smoothly and successfully for the last around two years, has resigned as Member Committee Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) today with immediate effect.
His resignation letter addressed to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) JKCA, Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari and copy of the same to Justice CK Prasad, Administrator JKCA, read: “For personal reasons I am unable to continue as Member of Committee of JKCA. Hence I submit my resignation with immediate effect which may be accepted with immediate effect. I hereby disassociate myself from all the activities of JKCA”.
In the resignation letter, Jang Bahadur has also extended thanks to all the cricket lovers and players for supporting him in raising the slogan of selection on merit, besides thanking all the Coordinators of J&K State for organising cricket in full swing.
It may be recalled that other three JKCA Committee Members including Sham Swaroop Kalsotra, Shiban Lal Trakroo and Ashraf Bhat had resigned earlier in 2018.
