JAMMU, May 1: Kashmir Councilors Association (KCA) president Rakesh Koul has taken serious exception to Government’s decision of withdrawing security to councilors especially those who work in Vulnerable South Kashmir.
In an emergency meeting called by the Association today its general secretary, A K Raina and B A Pahalwan vice president have strongly decried the Government decision. They said that the decision regarding withdrawal of security was taken at such a time when the councilors working under dire circumstances are confronted with constant threat to their lives. The meeting demanded restoration of security to councilors immediately failing which the Government will be responsible for all consequences.
