MENDHAR, Feb 14: Twelve persons were injured, one of them seriously in a group clash at village Kas Baladi in Mendhar area of district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that over land dispute between Mohd Riyast and Shamah Ahmed, the members of both the sides freely exchanged lathis and sharp edged weapons today. Shamah was constructing a house in the disputed area of 8 kanals and this led to bloody clash. All the injured were later removed to SDH Mendhar, where seriously injured Parveen Akhtar was referred to GMC Jammu. Police has registered cases for investigation.
