KATHUA, Feb 13: The residents of Shiva Nagar, Kathua held protest demonstration against acute shortage for last number of days here today.
They alleged that they are suffering with severe water shortage, and did not get water supply.
“We have not taken bath for last many days and are bound to wear dirty clothes, as there is no water in our houses even to wash a handkerchief; they said.
They said they approached the PHE officials many times but they have failed to restore water supply.
They accused the PHE authorities of negligence and carelessness and appealed the CE to intervene personally to restore water supply in the area.
