JAMMU, Jan 15: A meeting of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union (CPPWU) District Kishtwar was held today under the chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari, today.
The meeting was attended by all the executive members of the Union.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Bhandari appealed the Governor, N N Vohra to regularize the services of daily wagers of PHE division Kishtwar.
He said the daily wagers of PHE division Kishtwar are performing their duties since last 10 to15 years but their services have not been regularized despite repeated recommendations made to the Chief Engineer PHE Jammu by the concerned division.
Meanwhile, Bashir Khan president of the Union has demanded resumption of work upon Rattle H E Project which has been suspended by GVK power development in the month of July 2014 without any reason as a result of which a number of youths have become jobless.
Those who attended the meeting included Mohd Amin Butt, Tariq Patri, Anil Sharma, Gh Hussain Gannie, Javed Malipath, Ashraf Gannie, Sameer Butt, Jaffar Butt, Sunil Sharma, Ram Rattan Sharma, Akhter Hussain, Asgar Hussain, Farooq Dugga, Irshad Ahmed, Nisar Ahmed, Sardar Satpal Singh, Jaffar Giri, Nisar Bhaderwahi, Mohd Khalil Tapal, Rinku Tandulkar and Hafiz Mattoo.
