JAMMU, Aug 9: Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption Jammu, Jaffer Hussain Beigh has directed the SSP Vigilance Organization Jammu to act as per CrPC in a complaint filed by ex-Sarpanch Tara Chand and Ashok Kumar against the then BDO Sunderbani, Sukhpal Singh and others, who had allegedly misappropriated the funds for the Model Village Upper Kangri.
After hearing Advocate S M Choudhary appearing for the complainant and enquiry officer, Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption Jaffer Hussain Beigh observed, “the enquiry officer has admitted in the open court that he has not enquired about all the allegations made in the complaint, which is disobedience of the court orders”.
Accordingly, the court directed SSP Vigilance to act under Section 156 (3) CrPC.
