JAMMU, Apr 26: Government today reconstituted the executive committee of Craft Development Institute (CDI) Srinagar.
According to the order, Administrative Secretary Skill Development Department will be the chairman of the committee, Director Skill Development Department J&K will be its vice-chairman while Director CDI Srinagar will be its member secretary.
The committee will also comprise of Director Handicrafts and Handlooms Kashmir, Executive Director of National Institute of Design (NID) Ahmedabad, Director of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Srinagar, president of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) Srinagar, Head of Department of Management Studies (University of Kashmir) as its members.
Besides, Chairman of Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts, New Delhi or his nominee and one representative each of Finance Department and Planning, Development & Monitoring Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) will be the members of the committee.
