JAMMU, Mar 25: Police seized 92 bags of illegal cement from a shop in Patayadi Bale Da Bagh, falling under the jurisdiction of Akhnoor police station.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Akhnoor police station conducted raid in the shop premises at Patayadi Bale Da Bagh and seized 92 bags of illegal cement.
The owner of the shop identified as Dilawar, son of Mela Ram, a resident of Ward Number 13, Akhnoor had illegally received and kept the cement bags for sale.
A case under FIR Number 52/16 under Section 406 and 411 RPC has been registered and investigation started.
Police team led by SDPO Akhnoor Gurvinder Pal Singh and SHO Akhnoor Inspector Pushpinder Singh seized the illegal cement bags under the supervision of Additional SP Rural Arun Gupta.
